gary is friendly little "desktop pet". he'll visit you occasionally, every ?? minutes or so.If he gets in your way, you'll have to forcibly kick him off your computer (using windows task manager, pkill, or similar)
technical stuff
gary.exe runs in the background of your computer. It's very simple, the only thing it's doing is waiting for a godot timer. I have it set to run at startup on my machine.It assumes your desktop's bottom-application-bar-thing is 40 pixels high. If it isn't, find the userdata folder for gary and edit config.cfg
mac OS
the gary.app file here is best-effort, just what I was able to easily export from godot. apple tends to make things difficult so hopefully it works. If it doesn't work please let me know, but be warned that I likely won't be able to fix it.chromebook

Hello. Does Gary work on a chromebook?
hm, I’m not sure. I’ve added a linux_arm64 build (which I think is needed?) and some instructions after you click “download” – let me know if they work for you!
Hey friend! When I started it on my Windows 11, the screen turn black and only Gary appeared on the top left corner. I don't know why, but it didn't work on my machine
ah, sorry about that! I just pushed an update that might fix it; here are some steps to follow if you’d like to troubleshoot it with me:

done, I think? my engine makes mac export easy, but I have no way to test it, and don’t plan to support it if things are horribly broken somehow. but this file will probably work – let me know!
